DESCRIPTION

Originally launched in 2000, Hedonism has remained a core part of the Compass Box brand. The quality of whiskies needed to produce this blended grain whisky have dwindled, resulting in Compass Box making the decision to release Hedonism as a limited annual bottling starting February 2024. This edition, which includes older whiskies from Cameronbridge, Girvan, and Port Dundas distilleries, matured in first-fill bourbon barrels, is also the last release to include grain whiskies distilled in the 1990s. Being the first to feature a female on the label, Compass Box have initiated an artistic collaboration with Stephanie Rew, reimagining the iconic Hedonism woman using traditional gilding techniques. 7,746 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at 43%.

TASTING NOTES

Nose: A complex array of patisserie aromas, with exotic vanilla and clove-infused caramel.

Palate: Layers of creamy custard arrive on the palate, with accents of honey and mascarpone.

Finish: A delicate citrus accent appears on the finish.
