Launched in late 2019, this is the second release in the Vault Edition series from Islay's Bowmore distillery. The series explores four of the essential characteristics of Bowmore whisky after maturation in the legendary N°1 Vaults, in this case Peat Smoke. Matured in ex-bourbon casks, finished in sherry casks and bottled at a high strength of 50.1%.

Nose: Peat, sweet, rich, toffee, leathery, with herbal hints of thyme, rosemary and mint.

Plate: Sweet sherry, sticky fruits, BBQ smokehouse and volcanic ash.

Finish: Sweet, creamy with a light mineral finish.
